ENGL 503: Theory and Practice of Synthesis and Argumentative Writing

A study of the theory and practice of rhetorical analysis, synthesis, and argumentative writing with a special emphasis on writing analyses of nonfiction. This is a writing-intensive course that includes both formal and informal modes of writing.

This course is available to all eligible teachers regardless of religious affiliation. Some assignments may reflect Indiana Wesleyan University’s faith-based culture. 

Term: This is a Winter/Spring I course. Participants may register for one Full Semester course OR one course each in Winter/Spring I and Winter/Spring II.
