SPAN-T 510: Second Language Acquisition for Spanish Instruction

Applies second/additional language (L2) research to maximize learning opportunities in Spanish L2 classrooms. Contextualizes Spanish in the U.S. and explores how L2 Spanish is acquired and what this means for the classroom. Focuses on all main areas of L2 research, including vocabulary, morphosyntax, pragmatics, pronunciation, and variation.
Term: This is a Full Semester course. Participants may register for one Full Semester course OR one course each in Winter/Spring I and Winter/Spring II.
Prerequisite(s): Spanish proficiency, qualified to teach content area
