SPAN-T 550: Hispanic Studies

This graduate-level course highlights poetry from Spain and Latin America. Through readings, written analyses, short projects and tests, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to design high-impact activities using poems. Students will explore the cultural and historical contexts of a poem, universal themes, stylistic elements, and figurative language. Creativity, interaction, and personal interpretation are encouraged.

This is a Full Semester course. Participants may register for one Full Semester course OR one course each in Fall I and Fall II.
